Hmmm, I'd be a little concerned about Goo Gone on them - we've never tried it so I don't want to recommend it in case it ruins them! I think a better idea is the soap & water trick mentioned above. I've also rubbed a little wax paper on my wooden needles -that might help as well.
Hi Stacey, I run some water in the sink to which I add a little dish detergent, and this is what I ring a cloth out in and wipe my needles and then dry them with a soft cloth when they are sticky or in the case of the NP they also get a little dull and slow down on me. I was worried that sticking them in water may loosen the glue of the Zephyrs, could this be a problem, Joan
I really wanted the Harmony Options, but I am trying the Zephyrs because of price. The stand looks great, but I was worried the cats might turn it (and my needles) into a cat toy--then I'd be hunting for needles. (One of my hair clasps has never been found . . .)
Have not ordered mine yet, had gotten the set of Harmony just the other day,so was waiting on comments, so far everyone loves them so will just to try some, Irene
I had gotten some straight needles from KP then I got a set of Harmony needles, to me they do the job and the work slides right off, compared to other prices out there, they are a really good buy. I love my set. Irene
I just got my options needle tip stand. What about one designed for all 3 sets of tips? That would really be nice! I'm sure Bob will be pleased that customers are asking for yet another product!
This is a general queston about the sizes of the interchangeable needles. Why is #17 the largest needle you make? I love the interchangeable needles but in doing some charity knitting, I want to get things knit quickly (afghans, scarves, etc). I end up doubling or tripling strands and using #19 or even #35 needles. I'd really rather make these items with your needles.
