The options cables which work with any of the tips are extremely flexible. I can do Magic Loop with a shorter options cable than any other kind of circs.

My favorite tips vary by project. I love the harmony and the Zephyr tips equally for many knitting jobs but eespecially like the Zephyrs for use with yarn that does not give, like cotton. My hands have tired with almost any other needles but with Zephyrs since they flex ever so slightly that is not a problem.
Cory if you prefer metal needles, the nickle plated are fabulous. The key to tighten the tips, especially if you use something rubberized while attaching it [rubber shelving, jar opener, sewing needle puller]. The join is as smooth as if it isn't there. If you are unsure and don't want the spend the money on an entire set, buy a cable and some needle tips to see how you like them.
Actually Peggy that is exactly what I did. I bought one set of 32" cables and #17 Harmony tips. Then I ordered a few smaller harmonies and then some even smaller zephyrs. (Never tried the NC because I knit loose enough that I fear stitches falling off). Now I know I want the full set of harmonies. I was initially reluctant to buy the set because I had collected so many fixed circs already. But trying convinced me.
I've had my Zephyrs for a while now and I really love them! I'm wondering if they will ever be available in a sock needle kit like the Harmony wood. (hint, hint)
I too have the Zephyr needles and absolutely love them. I have used them almost exclusively and like the feel and function of them Add my voice to the choir that wants them in a sock size.....
I recieved a set of your acrylic needles from my husband for my birthday and I wanted to say 'thankyou to knitpicks too' i have already knit a beanie in fine alpaca wool for a friend which happily travelled with me in my handbag and I am also working on a waistcoat for myself in a chunky wool both have been a dream to knit especially as the needles were so light - a great product I hope other uk knitters will also get to enjoy
Santa just gave me the go-ahead to order a set. I can't wait for them to arrive. My friend has been using hers for several months now and just loves them.
I love my Zephyrs for very slippery yarns. Cable needles in the same material would really be a great addition to the line!!
Just received the pair of Zephyr US9 tips that I ordered. I'm using them to knit a project that will ultimately be felted. They're wonderful, if you like acrylic needles. They will never replace my beloved Harmony tips, but these are pretty darn good.

I have been working with the Zephyrs for a while now and on different yarns. I LOVE them. I love the harmony needles as much. I just ordered the harmony DPNs and can't wait to try those. (should be here in the next day or so). I really like the way they feel in my hands; warm, flexible and light. I find myself clicking the tips to Not hear a sound but feel the glide between them. (obviously need a little more excitement in my life, LOL) The only thing that I would like to see different is being offered in more colors. Sometimes it is confusing when you see the back leg of the stitch through the needle. I'd love to see a white for the dark yarns and black/navy etc for light yarns. I wouldn't buy the whole set but would buy the sizes I use in both dark and light while still using the clear as appropriate.

I can't wait for the connectors to come it. I was going to email my suggestion for those when they showed up on the site. They are reading my mind!! I really like all my experiences with Knitpicks and their products.
I love them! I received the Zepher Acrylic Interchangeable needle set for Christmas and I just started using them this weekend. I was kind of worried that I wouldn't like them. They just seemed a little scary for a new knitter like me. But I started a baby sweater and they are wonderful. And it's fun to see your yarn through the needles. I really like them a lot.

Here's a suggestion: how about a line of crochet hooks in the Zephyr line? I like the Zephyr needles' flexibility, and I think the material would lend itself well to crochet.
