Knitting Community

For those of you who don't know Kate has left Knit Picks and has also
left the Knit Picks community. She will certainly be missed.
Unfortunately when Kate left the community, it deleted any discussions
she had started. This was not her intention. So here is a new "Spinning Chatter"
discussion area. So please leave your comments here. In no
time at all, we will have this discussion filled with tons of
information. So if there is a comment that was discussed before and you
need a refresher please post again and someone will jump in as usual.

Wow!! I'm trying not to think about all that was in this discussion. Or about how some things may seem like deja vu when we are 'chatting' again. I'm sorry to see Kate go, but we all have change come into our lives so I hope she has a bright future in front of her.
Me, too, Nutty. I really wish her the best. But as chatty as we are, I'm sure this discussion will soon be filled again!
I'm sure it will :) We will miss Kate though - wish her the best of luck!
Sad we did not have a online going away party. Who will be are leader : ) We are so out of control with our threads every going wild I almost feel sorry for the person trying to keep up with us.
I just looked at the staff photos did they loose other designers too?
Nina is gone as well.:( I just read the Stash blog and see both Kate and Nina are gone.
We will be having Stacey as the KP moderator, along with your two humble lay moderators.
Very humble!
All of our opinions are humble!
We will have new things to discuss. I think the purpose of this discussion was to keep the other discussions on topic. We seem to get off on tangents anyway, but this is a good outlet for chit-chat, spinning-related or not. I'm so happy for this community. Thanks to all of yoy for being here!
Peggy, since your iPad keeps calling us "yoy" do we need to call ourselves "wey" or "wy" or.....hey what does the iPad say for "we"? LOL
I was telling DH last night about losing these two discussions. As I was talking to him I had the thought that we may just be moving on to other 'chatter' and not really miss what was here. Kind of like moving from kiddie books to chapter books. AND anticipating what's ahead in our spinning futures! Exciting!!
Nutty, I turned off the automatic spelling correction, so the mistake is entirely my own! After being trained not to look at my hands while typing, I find it hard to change, but when you can't feel the keys, it's harder to stay on the right ones unless you watch. I'm working on it now, and I think I've reduced the number of errors and my typing is faster. I still need to proof my posts, though!
Yes, occasionally I have gone back to look at an earlier post, but usually I just concentrate on the new stuff!
