That's an Autumn Rose Pullover swatch in the original colorway.

Do you have corrected charts for 2 at a time socks. Storey publishing has posted corrected charts. but I can't read the files.
Thanks
I am trying to start on a free pattern (victorian lace headband). I'm confused with the instruction on MAKE KNOT. Instruction goes like this: K1,P1,K1,P1,K1 into 1 st. Pass 2nd - 5th sts over first. Do I make the first 5 stitches in only 1 stitch? Please help. I really like this project.
I've not knitting this particular pattern, but have done some that have similar requirements. In my opinion, you will need to make sure not to make these stitches too tight or this stitch will be difficult. You knit the first five stitches into ONE stitch, then pass the next five stitches over the stitch you have just knit. When you are doing the K1, P1,K1, P1, K1, DO NOT complete the stitch, wait until you have all five stitches on the needle and then pass through the loop. I surely hope this helps.
I am attempting to make Lumpy the Snowman. Do I stuff him with anything? Does the stuffing have to be wool? HELP!
I used white poly-fiberfill.
Mahalo! That is what I bought when I was in town!
Victorian Fingerless Gloves Pattern
by Knit Picks Design Team

Hi ALL! I am desperate to knit this pattern for all my girlfriends who type and freeze their fingers, but...although I knit lace patterns all the time I can NOT get this pattern figured out. I have cast on 14 times now trying to figure it out. If you look at the chart it makes no sense either.

Has anyone successfully knit these mitts?

In the second row it tells you to drop the second YO, but there are no yarn overs to drop. They are still at the other end of the needle.
I was having the same problem....No answers to this question yet??? ( But I gave up after casting on only about 4 times---you're more persistent than I am! :))
Hi Lisa,

I'm sorry, I don't know why this went unanswered but I am will try to help you out. You will be knitting the chart flat, so the YO should line up. You will be picking up the stitches once that part is complete.

Let me know if that isn't the problem!

Hi Lisa and jlfknits,

did you figure it out? i was having a hard time as well (even though knitting in the right direction), then i realized i was relying on the numbers at the top of the chart for counting the number of stitches i was doing (bad idea!)

So long story short, when you are knitting the RS at row2, count the chart stitches- it comes out to 9, not 7!

Hope that helps!

Dear Members, I have a very basic question. I am attempting to do the Yarn Harlot's Unoriginal Hat posted on her blog page. The pattern calls for 7mm dpns, I am not using a bulky yarn but a chunky yarn double stranded. My question is what is the equivalent of 7mm dpns in US standards. I have found 8mm which translates to US#11 or 6.5mm which translates into 10-1/2 US standards. So is it safe to say I can use either size needle?
