Permalink Reply by cherylbwaters on March 6, 2011 at 3:50pm This sounds like some sort of linen stitch. Sl2 is usually sl 2 purlwise unless it tells you slip knitwise. Wyif means with yarn in front. Here is a video for the linen stitch. It only as 1 slipped st but it should be the same principal.

Permalink Reply by Elfcat on April 4, 2011 at 8:01am Hi Cheryl & Everyone!
Is anyone or has anyone done the Adagio sweater pattern? I have a gauge question. Silly really, but I'm not really caffeinated yet.... Pattern calls for 22 sts over 4" and I get 19 with same yarn and needles. Do I go down a needle size to get gauge or not?
Thanks!

Since you are needing more stitches in one inch, you will need to go down in needle size. You had it right, even without the caffeine :)
