I loved the Apricot color in Suri Dream. I love to make afghans, shawls and ponchos with Suri Dream, it's so light and warm. Will you ever continue the Apricot color? It was my favorite. Or will you ever come up with a color that is similar to it? I sure hope you don't discontinue the Suri Dream! I can make scads of warm, comfortable and affordable projects with it!!!! Like this Dreamy poncho I knitted from the Apricot color.
Very pretty! Suri Dream is here to stay, but we are pruning the colors, based on sales. Rest assured that even more pretty colors are coming this fall.
Hello,
I love the Comfy yarn and would love to see pinks, light and darker. I am a real pink kinda girl and so many of your lines are missing the pinks. The comfy has flamingo, but that is more of a peach. Please please please add pinks.
Just a note-I want to let you know I love the quality of your yarns and the prices are great to.
Thanks for your time.

I'm knitting up a sock in Felici "Firefighter", which is apparently now sold out, and I'm just wondering when we might see new colors for Felici. (For the record, I adore the "Provence" colorway -- it's so bright and cheerful!)
Probably some time in early 2009. All Felici colors are limited editions, so when each batch gets close to running out, we bring in the next batch of colors.
I am very new to this forum but have ordered twice for 2 of my projects and I am hooked on KP yarn. My questions is, there was one time where this site told you a substitution for yarn on a certain hoodie. The pattern called for Cascade 220 and KP had a substitute. I tried looking up other subs for other yarns but get nothing. Am I doing something wrong. I am looking for a sub for:
Berroco - Bling Bling (50 gr/92 yds)
Crystal Palace - Iceland
Berroco - Mohair Classic (I HATE MOHAIR OR ANY FUR- IT ALWAYS WINDS UP IN MY EYE!) Can I just use something else.
Any help would be appreciated. I am a new knitter and for some reason have picked it up very quickly. I have made 3 pairs of socks, a blanket and a bolero jacket. I cannot stop knitting!
You can certainly knit with the yarn straight from the Blank without dyeing it, but it would save you money to use the Bare Superwash/Nylon Fingering weight yarn instead. If you're not dyeing the yarn, then having it preknitted is probably just added expense for you, so the hanked version of this yarn is probably better for your needs.
Just wanted to say that my second Knit picks order (15 glorious skeins of yarn!) got here on Monday...... (a whole day early!!!) And I am in heaven (almost. I haven't started knitting with it yet :)
Got gloss for the first time and I *adore* it. Can't wait to get the current projects off the needles so I can start working!!!
About 9 months ago I started knitting a shawl-collared sweater-coat with the Quarry boucle yarn in color, Ubatuba. I ordered 12 skeins and filled my basket with the lovely stuff. I have the back and side-panels completed and was draping them over me so I could visualize the finished product. This yarn creates such a wonderfully soft, light fabric. Starting both sleeves at the same time, I completed about 12 inches, reached in my basket to get another ball of, what seemed, an endless supply of "Ubatuba" and found not a single one. No problem, I'll just skip to my laptop and order a couple more--but I find it's DISCONTINUED. Waaaah, it's not pretty to see a grown woman cry over her knitting. So...I was wondering if anyone would take pity and had 1 or 2 extra balls they'd be willing to part with.
Have you tried using Ravelry.com? They have an extensive, well-established trade board where people list the yarn in their stash. After you sign up, you can send a little message to folks who have some Ubatuba Quarry left over and see if they're willing to sell it to you. The Ravelry folk are pretty friendly!
No, I haven't tried that, thank you. I'll check it out right away. I'm pretty new to knitting and am on a budget and I'd thought I'd calculated so carefully how much yarn I would need. I guess the lesson learned: always order at least 1 more skein than you think you'll use.
By the way, I'm so thankful for Knit Picks. Without you, I could only afford knitting with plain ol' synthetic yarn. Bleh! And I love how your website is set up--really helpful. Thanks again.
