Usually you would link to your own personal blog feed on your Facebook page so that your friends will know what you've been posting. You can use that application for other RSS feeds, though.
Hi I'm new to this post. I am knitting a poncho that is knitted with four sides. I was finally finished with all four..(at least I thought I was) when I realized I made a mistake in one. I don't mind doing it over I have patience when it comes to my crafts. But what I want to know is..does anyone know where I can get a free pattern for a poncho with only two sides?
Holy cow... where could you go and not find that? LOL! Try the websites for any of the run of the mill yarn sites like www.caron.com, www.bernat.com, www.lionbrand.com. Also put what I write in the brackets in your Google search bar and hit return: [free: poncho pattern]... that will likely give you more patterns than you'll ever want. :-)
If that doesn't do it, let us know... I'm sure someone has other ideas and responses.
thanks for the reply. I didn't know about caron.com. I found what I want but it's crochet..looking at it I get the idea. I can figure out the inches on the craft and design my own with knitting. Thanks again.,
Normally, I would have found a pattern and given you a specific link or two, but I was not entirely certain I understood what you were looking for, so thought it best to let you see the way I would have gone about looking for the answer and let you decide for yourself when you found what you needed. Besides, doing the research like that, I sometimes stumble across something I didn't know I was looking for! LOL!
I see what you mean. They have categories, like "favorite books," but I can't find a place where they are all listed, one after another. Of course, if you're looking for a specific book, you can do a search for that. If you just want to browse the entire selection, I don't see how to do it. --Peggy
huh? Are we talking ponchos or Facebook? I was just struggling with Facebook so my mind is a little scattered. I've also got "scared bunny eyes" [just back from opthamologist and both eyes are dilated] so its hard for me to see and for some reason, dilating my eyes also seems to "dilate" my brain! LOLOL! [Probably shouldn't even BE on the computer, but I started the KP/Facebook thing before I left and wasn't able to finish up before I had to leave for my appt]
We were talking "knitpicks.com." Someone asked where you can see all the books KP has to offer. Maybe I clicked in the wrong place. I'm so computer-challenged! LOLFOF! --Peggy
Where can I find care &/or size labels for my finished projects??? I've got short term memory issues and I make things for others in my family that will never remember if they can put something in the washer or dryer or not unless it is literally written in the garment
Thanks for the link, but they don't offer the label I need most: Hand Wash/Dry Flat. This is the label that is most critical for gifts, especially. I avoid making anything for other people if they can't just toss it in the washer and dryer and not think about it.... very few people seem to DO hand wash anymore, and some people don't even seem to know HOW.
Anyway... thank you for trying! I did find OTHER stuff at the site I will use in the future, and they do have size labels and other care labels I could use.
KP: Is there any way you could find a supplier to create or provide these for your yarns that we could purchase with our yarn? I have no idea how involved such a request might be, but it would save gifts and I would be more willing to consider gifting hand wash projects if I could tag them with sewn in care labels.
