Olivia, Why do you not want to use circulars? Using straight needles may necessitate seaming!! Uck.
How about this?
Olivia, I just did a search with these words. bolero free patterns and found a site with many boleros. The first one I clicked on appeared to use straight needles and was really cute. Here is the site:
http://www.knittingpatterncentral.com/directory/boleros.php. The first one I clicked on took me to this site: http://www.dailyknitter.com/allison.html Hope this helps. Gotta relearn how to embed a html!! If it really matters.
Good work, Angela! ♥c
Why thank you very much Cheryl.
Let's see photos when you have something to show! --P
Hi Olivia! I have many bolero patterns using straight needl Only problem I live in the UK! If you can get hold of any Simply Knitting (UK magazine) older magazines you will find some in there. They also published a book which had boleros in. I am not sure if it would be ok to scan and send you patterns - not really legal - or I could send you what I have. Or you may find on the Simply Knitting site or indeed the Lets Knit site (both UK) that there may be free patterns for you to download. Heather
Been thru a bad patch. Dr says the Dexamethasone is the culprit (well, duhhh). I am to now take half as much each week. That should help, they say.

Thanks to everyone for their concern. I knitted all the time at the Clinic today. Working on a Care Cap.

Marty: We're cheering you on from the sidelines! Here's hoping things get better with the lower dose. --P
Marty, I really hope things go better for you. At least you got to knit... one very bright spot in the day! ♥s
Oh, Marty, you are definitely in our hearts. Hope cutting down on the Dexamethasone will help. Keep that basket full! ♥c
Marty, I have been on the sidelines, but my prayers are with you! Knit On!! I went to the orthopedist today and was knitting ans listening to a book on my iPod as I waited for him {not as long as last week when he was ridiculously behind]! He was quite impressed with my multi-tasking. But you should take care, take it easy, and just go with the flow. ath
